Wendy jumped over to the residential side of real estate when she joined Leigh in 2011 as co-owner of Red Door Properties. Wendy is responsible for analysis, systems and marketing as well as internal financial management and operations. While Leigh and Sue handle the majority of the customer-facing work, Wendy provides the back-up, support and extra opinion (whether solicited or not!) on each client transaction.
Prior to joining Red Door Properties, Wendy worked as a Real Estate Development Manager for the Trammell Crow Company in Denver where her primary responsibility was the financing, design, tenant coordination and construction management of the Denver Health Pavilion M facility on the Denver Health campus. In addition, Wendy leveraged her LEED Accredited Professional status to manage the build-out of the LEED Gold 1900 Sixteenth Street commercial office tower near Union Station.
Between college and business school, Wendy spent six years working at priceline.com. As Director of Operations, she learned an appreciation for customer service and was responsible for the training, performance and morale of the customer service team as well as the overall service level and contact quality of all issues coming into the priceline.com customer service department. Wendy believes in the quote, “If we don’t take care of our customers, someone else will” and works each day with that lesson in mind.
When Wendy’s not working in the Red Door office, she enjoys mountain-biking, skiing (as long as it’s not too cold) and golf. She also enjoys watching the Denver Broncos even when they disappoint!
